Welcome to the merchandise section of my website.  This is also when I have to admit to being technologically challenged!  Setting up a secure, online shopping cart has so far eluded my novice skills at web design.  So, in order to make these items available, I have simply listed them here, along with their prices.  Once you have determined what you would like to purchase, please click on the Order Form and fill in the appropriate fields.

Upon receipt of your order, I will then send you an electronic invoice via Paypal.  You can then pay with a credit card, using their secure payment system.

You are also welcome to mail a check for your order.  Please mail checks to:

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Flying Colors

It's here, my third book, Flying Colors, published by C&T Publications.  I am so
impressed with the graphics and design. Working with C&T has been an
inspiration. In fact, the experience has been so rewarding that
thoughts of the next books are already swirling in my mind. Flying
Colors takes the traditional goose beyond tradition into a heady world
of free-form design. No longer just for geese, the curvy filler strips
can hold many different designs and 14 different fillers are included
among the pages. Thank you to all of my students who generously allowed
the use of their quilts in the book too.

Stellar Journeys

First published in 2001, by the American Quilter's Society, this 80-page book leads the reader through a series of simple exercises that teach how to design you own circular stars, complex borders, and those magnificent, free-form flying geese.  Also in the book, which is color throughout, are numerous photos of Gail's quilts over time, several patterns, and a gallery section that includes student designs.

This book is out of print and I have no remaining stock.  It can be downloaded as an E-book from the American Quilter's Society for $12.00

Alvin Drafting Compass

The 975VK compass by Alvin Co. is simply the best compass at a relatively low price.  After conducting a two-year search, I haven't found anything comparable.  It has an extender bar that enables circles up up to 24" in diameter.  It has quick release levers to open and close the compass quickly, as well as a fine-tuning dial knob.  It also hold a mechanical pencil thereby ensuring accurate  width of lines, and reducing  error due to ever widening  pencil lines.   Click here for compass assembly directions.

Flexible Curve

Perfect for drawing free-form flying geese and other shapes, this flexible curve by Alvin Co. is the tool for the job.  It bends easily and is not stiff, unlike some other flexible curves.  It also comes in two different lengths.

40" Flexible Curve - $20.00
24" Flexible Curve - $15.00

Quilts for Sale
Welcome to the Quilts for Sale section.  In the 28 years that I have been quilting my focus has always been on exploring new techniques, using new colors, and teaching the same to my students.  In order to do that, I have kept almost every quilt I've made so that there would be plenty of good examples to inspire those who take my classes.  Now, however, I have a large body of work that is beginning to outgrow my storage capacity.  In  this section, I am now offering new and older quilts for sale.  Although the photos shown are of reduced resolution for internet purposes, I will be happy to send full-size photos of any quilts that are of interest to you.  Send an e-mail to me with the quilt you are interested in, and I will send a higher resolution image.

North Wind embodies the change of the seasons, when the wind blows away the old and welcomes the new.  It is a celebration of good things to come, and thus, is stitched in brilliant shades of many colors.
